The IZ's International Office can host exchange students from abroad and Erasmus+ students from Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine in one of the IZ's student apartments.Stuttgart Student Association(Student Services) on request.
Note that it is difficult to find apartments on the private housing market in Stuttgart. That's why we strongly recommend that you enroll in one of the student halls of residence. If you do not intend to apply for student housing, please inform the International Office at the lateste-mail.

Students in English-taught master's programs must make their own arrangements for suitable accommodation. Unfortunately, IZ's International Office is unable to arrange accommodation for diploma seeking students.
We strongly recommend that you apply for a room in the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart and Vereinigung Stuttgarter Studentenwohnheime e.V. dormitories. as soon as possible. Housing is hard to find on the private market in Stuttgart.

Dormitory Information
student dormitory byStuttgart Student Association(student facilities) and. Most halls of residence are located on the Stuttgart-Vaihingen campus and all halls of residence are mixed. An easy 20-minute drive to reachtrain(Shuttle) departs from the center's campus.
Single rooms have a table, bed, chair, wardrobe/cupboard and bookshelves, some also have a sink. All members of an apartment or floor have a communal kitchen. Dishes must be brought in or purchased in Germany. There are also shared toilets and showers on each floor. Sheets and duvets can be purchased at the administrator's office in the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart halls for EUR 65 and in the halls assisted by the Vereinigung Stuttgarter Studentenwohnheime e.V. for EUR 55. room offer
If the student residence you've applied for is able to offer you a room, you'll receive a so-called room offer by email three to four weeks before your move-in date.
If accepted, the next step is to transfer a certain amount and confirm the rent. For dormitories at the Vereinigung Stuttgarter Studentenwohnheime e.V. you must pay a deposit of EUR 400. If you accept a room at Studierendenwerk Stuttgart, please make sure to transfer 700 EUR to their account. This amount includes EUR 400 and a security deposit of EUR 300 as part of your first month's rent. Please make sure to transfer the required amount by the deadline stated in the room offer. Otherwise, your reservation for the dormitory room will be cancelled.
